Seems that there was a OH-SO-GOOD idea to have US ( ) to report to some division headquaters ONE hour BEFORE our shift starts.
For the uninformed, that's pratically asking us to work FOURTEEN hours for a day shift, and TWELVE hours for a night shift. MOREOVER, it's a THREE ROTA system, meaning our WORKING days is TWO day shift, TWO night shift and followed by TWO off days. (Actually it's more like ONE AND A HALF DAY off)
Therefore he is asking us to work 14 plus 14 plus 12 plus 12 HOURS per 4 day shift. That's 52 hours for APPROXIMATLY 48 hours of off days.
EVEN THOUGH we get to go home everyday to rest, the rest time is that little to ONLY allow us to sleep and get up the next day to CONTINUE working.
NOW, considering the fact that we have to go the the division headquaters ONE hour earlier than our shift, that equals to less rest time.
BEFORE the anyone can tell us that our job is SUPER EASY, with nothing much to do, I SINCERELY ASK them to come down one day and DO our job instead of telling us it's a easy job. NOTHING beats hands-on experience right? LIKE people like to say.
EVEN THOUGH they spend ALOT of TIME to INDENT the vechicles to BRING us to our work place, it's JUST NOT WORTH our one hour. CONSIDERING the fact that some people have their own form of transport that will allow them to arrive at our respective workplace faster, it's as good as asking them to forgo their own transport to go to work. It's not as though the lorries are going to go our house and fetch us there and back.
AND, it's going to be implemented EVERYDAY from FRIDAY onwards. LET ME ask you, is the indenting of the vechicles WORTH the time that could be saved? OPPURNITY COST IS SUPER HIGH.
This is just unreasonable. EVEN THOUGH we are just LOWLY NSFs serving our NS for 2 years AND we have to LISTEN to EVERYTHING that the HIGHER levels tell us to do, it's just plain unreasonable.
OKAY, EVEN THOUGH this is SO totally, without a SINGLE doubt, BIASED. And the fact that it might never be brought up to the publics KNOWLEDGE, as everything is probably swept under the rug.
